Aluminium and Glass Pivot Doors

Our range of aluminium and glass pivot doors can be customised to meet the needs of you and your home, allowing you to truly make a bold and unforgettable first impression. Made from aluminium and glass, our range of striking pivot doors combine exceptional quality and style allowing your house to stand out from the crowd.

Due to the nature of a pivot door we would recommend you only use this style of door in an internal setting as pivot doors are hinged from the top and bottom of the door rather than the side, like traditional entrance doors. This means pivot doors have a 11mm tolerance at both the top and bottom of the door hinge and are therefore not weather proof.

Aluminium and glass pivot doors deliver a contemporary, and unique look and stunning aesthetic results can be achieved using these oversized doors.

Here at Glass and Stainless, we offer a wide range of pivot door options including, single pivot doors, double pivot doors, coloured aluminium pivot doors, extra wide pivot doors and glass pivot doors. If you are looking to make a grand statement in your home, and would like more information on our extensive range of pivot doors, contact us today.

This means that the door could have some water ingression in driving rain or a little draft in very windy weather. We always recommend pivot doors to be installed in a semi or fully-protected location.

We offer a wide range of material options for your new pivot door including, glass, wood, aluminium and marble effects.

Unlike hinged doors that open and close on a fixed axis, pivot doors rotate on an axis that is above and below the doorframe. A pivot door, by design, has a rotating hinge mechanism that can support the weight of the door, making it easy to operate.
